Manage hreflang tags for different language versions of your Joomla website, including versions on separate domains.
What it does
The hreflang tag plugin is designed for Joomla websites serving multiple languages or regions. Hreflang tags tell search engines which pages are alternative language versions of the same content.
- Set up languages in the plugin configuration.
- Manage hreflang references through Joomla menu items.
- Add tags for the active language and the x-default version.
- Link language versions across different domains.
If a page has both Dutch and English versions, you can link them to each other. The x-default reference identifies a fallback page for visitors whose language does not have a specific version.
